Supervisee in Social Work | Therapist

Born in New York and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia, I’m a compassionate, dedicated therapist committed to helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions.

In addition to traditional therapy concerns, I hold a special passion for supporting individuals at the intersection of mental health and physical health. This includes clients facing chronic illness, injuries, disabilities, and post-surgical recovery – where emotional healing must walk hand-in-hand with the body’s journey. I believe in a whole-person approach that honors the connection between mind and body, empowering clients to reclaim their wellness from the inside out.

My clinical style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I integrate approaches like CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients overcome internal barriers and rewrite their narratives. I also enjoy facilitating group therapy and believe deeply in the power of community for healing.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in African Studies from Howard University and earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Norfolk State University.
