Ashley is a proud graduate of Norfolk State University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work, as well as a second Master’s degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Cybersecurity. A native of Portsmouth, Virginia, Ashley has always been driven by a deep passion for helping others. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, to whom she has provided individual, group, and family psychotherapy for various mental health diagnoses.
Ashley is a licensed-eligible Clinical Therapist with a diverse professional background. She has worked in multiple settings, including community-based services, school-based counseling, residential treatment facilities, correctional institutions, acute inpatient psychiatric units, and managed care organizations. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate and overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, anger management, ADHD, social skills development, grief and loss, substance use, and relationship issues.
Her therapeutic style is strength-based and client-centered, with a focus on empowering individuals and families through positive change, healing, and personal growth. Ashley is committed to providing effective, evidence-based treatment with compassion and integrity, and she brings that same commitment to her role as an educator, supporting the next generation of human service professionals.
